Israelux Tours are teaching trips led by Tara-Leigh Cobble.

On each trip, we work with a Israel/US-based tour company, Gates to Israel, and our favorite local guides. At each site, the local guides will offer historical context, and Tara-Leigh Cobble and the Israelux team will provide devotionals and further Biblical insights at significant locations.

When you sign up for one of our tours, we’ll even provide you with a 28-day Bible reading plan that you can choose to do in advance of your trip, tailored to the specific sites we’ll be visiting. Our aim is to help every Israelux traveler be more equipped to read, understand, and love Scripture and the God it reveals to us.

We aim to maximize the number of sites we're able to see, as well as provide a calm and restful environment for absorbing details and making deep connections with others on the trip.

Please Note

You must be 18+ to attend one of our trips. Because of the pace of our trips, they are not recommended for those 65+ and/or those with limited physical abilities (i.e. Are you able to walk a mile in 15 minutes on unstable surfaces in the heat?).

Our trip is built through a Protestant lens (see sample itinerary). Those who are catholic may prefer a tour geared toward visiting catholic sites and churches.

Additionally, we find that our trips are best suited to those who are Christians and have participated in The Bible Recap (via book, podcast, or video).

Covid-19 Regulations

Covid-19 regulations are changing frequently, including in Israel. We will plan to adjust in order to abide by any rules Israel and the airlines decide to implement regarding masks, etc., in order to provide a safer environment for everyone and be good ambassadors by honoring local policies. Payment Policy

COST & PAYMENTS

Estimated tour cost for 2024 Tours is ~$6800 (all inclusive) or ~$5300 (land only). Price is an estimate only and subject to change. The trip will be paid in three installments:

  • $500 deposit - first payment (non-refundable, non-transferable, due upon registration)

  • $2000 - second payment

  • Balance due - third/final payment

LAND ONLY OPTION

You can choose to purchase your own airfare instead of having our tour company arrange it. You will need to purchase flights that correspond with the group’s arrival/departure times.

ROOMING ALONE

You can choose to room alone. The single room supplement is usually an additional $1,500 - $1,900.

Cancellation Policy

Trip deposit ($500 per person) is non-refundable and non-transferable. Any cancellation refunds will be processed on this timeline:

  • If you cancel between 150 days prior to trip departure date but before we have purchased flights (~3 months prior), $1000 per person is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel after flights have been purchased and up to 30 days prior to trip departure: the full cost of your flight(s) + $1000 per person is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel 30 days or less prior to trip date, the full tour cost is non-refundable.

If a trip is unable to continue as planned due to circumstances outside of our control (government-mandated restrictions, etc.) the same cancellation policy applies. This is one reason we suggest that you strongly consider trip insurance.

If paying by credit card, the 4% credit card handling fees cannot be refunded.
